The marriage will be registered under section 16 of special marriage act
Both the parties should have completed their age of majority i. e.bride should have completed 18 yrs of age and groom should have completed 21 yrs of age
Procedure for registration of marriage :
1. Parties has to apply for the registration with all the necessary documents.
2. The application will be online .
3. Party will get the receipt of such application.
4. Upon receipt of such application, the Registrar issues public notice for 30 days.
5. Registrar will wait for any objections for 30 days after issuing the notice.
6. After 30 days parties can visit the Registration office and get the certificate.
