NoticeNotice of Intimation Registration Service in Thane of Intimation Registration Service in Thane

E-filing is only the electronic or online filing of notices of suggestion of mortgage of the property as stated in Section 89B of the Registration Act, 1908.

From April 1, 2013 E-filing of notice of suggestion in case of mortgage via deposit of title deed came into effect.

These changes have been carried out to safeguard the interests of banks and society. Previous, the agreement/suggestion relating to mortgage by the method of deposit of title deed was out of the public space.

Due to this, there was scope for fake practices like profiting advances from multiple banks on the same property or discarding the property which is already mortgaged. Therefore, these changes have been brought to prevent such cheats.
